It's important that we all remain positive during hard times and that we foster environments that encourage other to do the same. To do our part, the Village Green team has been working hard to bring joy to our residents are are less together right now than they would like to be. Here's a bit of what we've been up to...
Drive-Through Birthdays ๐๐
Village Green resident Peggy celebrated her 99th birthday, and was surprised with a drive-through birthday parade by friends and family!
Happy birthday, Peggy ๐
Community Connection ๐
Our own Chef Michael Lesh cooked up delicious brunches that the Village Green team delivered to local first responders, including 4 South King County Fire and Rescue stations and the Federal Way Police Department.
A huge thank you to ALL first responders!
Spreading Gratitude ๐
Keeping Residents Safe ๐ฆ
Just Poppin' By ๐ฟ
Our staff decided to bring residents one of their favorite mid-day snacks - popcorn!
It's definitely considered an essential activity during this time.
Keeping Residents Connected ๐ป
Family is arguable one of the most life giving components of this world.
Laptops were graciously donated to Village Green so that residents are able to connect with family via a variety of virtual meeting platforms, even if they don't own a personal computer!
๐ป A Fresh Start for Springtime ๐ท
Recently, we finished building Victory Garden, where each resident with a green thumb can plant and cultivate their garden on their own time.
โ In accordance with safe social distancing guidelines of course!
